Yep, not many good ones though. Who wants to buy a 6.0 Vauxhall with 108k miles? Lower mileage, well cared for cars will be worth more in the long run.

Never good to talk down values, but a lot do seem overpriced.

Don't think prices are too unreasonable. If you compare Monaro values to other similar sized coupes with sporting/ grand touring aspirations, the values are right in the ball park. Certainly better value than an equivalent E46 M3, and often in better condition for the money in my experience(or at least that was the case 3 years ago when I was buying mine).

That LS1 VXR does seem great for the money if the condition and history check out.

Maybe smile They seem stronger than where they were 3-4 years back.

Would have to agree. The only thing I'd replace my Monaro with would be a supercharged version.

If this was local it would probably be in my garage by now smile

Along with spigot bearings, gearboxes (as a consequence), structural bodywork, brake and fuel lines, petrol, money for modifications, engines (after the modifications), concrete barriers at the Pod, pop-up lids in the centre console, small children and OAPs when the exhaust is on loud...

Both, I reckon. The curse is a need to buy holdens, and his hobby is to then fix them. wink
