Holden sv6 Storm

On holiday in Oz and picked one of these as a hire car as going to Bathurst, seemed the logical thing to do. The thing is what a car for the money lovely six cylinder with 280 bhp, great handling, nice interior and all the toys, and all for about 19 thousand pounds brand new with free servicing till 2020. Is there a better car for the money anywhere?

Yes, SS sedan for 26k GBP (52 and a bit kAUD).

6.2 litre LS3



(this is a Redline but the SS is essentially the same).

vauxhall should offer these for us mere mortals that cant stretch to the 55k for the current F series, I'll trade in my astra vxr daily driver for one of those today

Is it me or do these new Holdens look a little like a big Skoda?
Great machines no doubt, but the front and rear styling are way off the mark, if it had a diesel or 4 cylinder petrol engine you would not give them a second look.....and that's from a Holden fan!
