With new manufactures planning to compete, this season promises to be the most competitive for many years.
The Emotional Engineering team have made great progress with the recently rebuilt Vauxhall Monaro. Over winter the car has been on a major diet, the resultant weight loss along with more horse power/torque and reliability from the teams' new engine builder should add up to a good solid start to the new season.
Orchard said, “ I am really looking forward to our first race this season. We are in much better shape than last year! We have worked hard on the car through out the winter, we have a new livery for '05 along with a new driver Mark Cole, we have also managed to collate some spares in the areas that may have caught us out previously, but I am still concerned that we need more spares and further testing as you can never predict what is going to happen in motor racing”
