Gloucestershire/Worcestershire HSV/Holden get Together

Hello all,

A57HSV(Tom) and Myself had an idea about having a little get together at some hostelry/function in or around the Gloucestrshire area as the place is now inundated with Holdens of various sorts (approx. 7).

There are a number of events going on and we could be getting together for the usual swapping of stories, sharing of woes etc. etc.

Will post some local events soon, but I would be keen to hear ideas and level of interest in a fairly regular get togethr...once a month perhaps?

My initial idea is a get together at the Pilot Inn at Hardwick (South Gloucester) as it has a large car park and a number of other interesting vehicles appear there. It is also half-way'ish between Tom (Bath) and Des/Matt/Karl).

We can get together there for the first meet and see where it takes us.

I own a push bike... does that count? Zero emmissions, so on average fuel consumption between the two I'm using the same as a 2 Litre boy racer.

first get together could be a Gloucester/Worcester/Warwick=shire meet if we take up Jagsy's offer for Vauxhall Speed Weekend (yes we recognise Vauxhalls as well! -> 'TheBolt' as long as it has a V8 )

Any takers?

Other events on that weekend are 'Lash at the Lode', Lower Lode Pub, Forthampton, nr Tewkesbury = Streetfighters Rally (Bikes) but good and . I usually camp that weekend.

If enough people wanted to go then I could ask if we can park the Holdens (Vauxhalls ) near the pub?
