Just read an article comparing the 1993 Lotus

Carlton with the new 6.0 Monaro VXR.
The performance figures are almost identical!

Which would you say was the better car? Which would you prefer to own and run?

Personally, I will take a 6.0 n/a car over a 3.6 twin-turbo every time and pricewise, the Carlton was twice as expensive in real terms.

Always wanted a LC but I would expect the VXR to be available for every day use re; reliability

Strongly Agree mate,

There's nothing quite like a V8 mate,
There's no subsitute for Cubic Inches,
& I don't like Hair Dryers.
