Picked up a Pontiac GTO a few weeks ago, looking for a forum to talk about the car. Are the GTO's accepted here?

The LS1 powered 2004 model did not sell well over here as consumers thought it looked bland and could not tell it apart from other Pontiac models. The sticker price was $33,000 USD. I paid invoice price of $28,500 and then there was a $5,000 rebate. With taxes I paid just under $25,000 USD out the door. Thats about what a mid level Honda Accord sells for over here so I think I got a great deal. I've owned several cars with the LS1 motor, so I was very pleased with the price.

As I don't normally post in HSV & Monaro I won't speak for those that do, but looking at the cars on your profile I'd say that your a bona fide piston head.
