Bonnet interchangeability

What is the interchangeability of a GTS (VT2) bonnet with Monaros?

I have a spare “nostrilled” bonnet, which I believe was originally from a CV8, so it should fit that at least.
I’m not 100% familiar with all the Monaro variants – the FAQ says the models are:
CV8
VXR
CV8
VXR

So will the bonnet fit all of these? Does it Maloos too?

I believe the bonnets of all years are interchangeable, as is the front bumper. However, the problems arise from the slightly different headlights between the 04/ 05 cars. So you need the correct headlights to go with the correct front bumper. I'm not at all sure about the Maloo.

VZ Maloos and Utes are a problem (there may be others). They have ridges which start on the front panel and run up the bonnet.

My VY SS Ute has a Monaro bonnet fitted to it. I'd upload a pic but haven't got a picture upload site since Photobucket did what they did.
