So who likes the new Monaro bonnet.?

I actually do like it, but wondered what other people's opinions were. Do the vents actually do anything or are they purely cosmetic?

I do like them mate, they have grown on me you might say, but not fussed weather the car had them or not,

I love the new Monaro, it has the vents, so leave them on !

The vent are only for looks (for the GTO yanks)they don't actually do anything.

I did not like it alot at first looked a bit 'halfords'(I also have a Forester turbo - with bonnet venmt and it does funtion_ but has grown on me. I think it looks best in black or silver IMHO - but its personal I guess. I definately prefer the 05 front bar but....1400 hard earned pounds no way.

I love the vents.

I love them so much that I hope to have the bonnet fitted to my Black Monaro 04 model if all goes well & the loan for the car goes ahead.

I'm seriously considering one for mine. Actually the front bar does nothing for me.
I like my big boot on the 04 and with just the bonnet and a few "resonably priced" mods I can have the best of both worlds....at least that's my logic???? That's the great thing about these cars.....they just beg to be tailored.

was very tempted to add a scooped bonnet to my GTS before I left Oz, at around $1400 it seemed dear to me then but now I live in pound land not so. I reckon the scoops look mean & would esp do so on the black GTS. Part of me does still always prefer that my car is std though. Count me in with the "AYES"

Naughty word from Will hehehe Rob wont like that!!! was readin in Commy mag over here and them bonnet scoops do actually work more ventilation from the massive heat from the LS2 and reduces flat spots in output on them hot days only in OZ-Yankland not too much of a prob in UK but ya never know eh?

I like them but they don't make much difference to the overall effect or the styling. In other words, if you didn't like it before, the vents won't change your mind.
