LSV are getting there

The rolling road will arrive very soon as it is being air freighted, I have seen the EFi software in person. The bits for my car are in stock. Had a nose round their stores and there is a lot of stock there from valve springs to engine heads & exhausts plus the consumable spares to badges.

I am having the Harrop sports diff cover, Starr Performance height adjustable suspension package (coil over), new suspension bushes, negative camber on front struts, stiffer anti-roll bar, enlarged baffled sump and having the knock sensor reinstated together with a 2 bar MAF sensor, fingers crossed for the car to be ready & finished once & for all by June 5th (Vauxhall Performance Day at Santa Pod).

Will- Do you think the RR will be ready soon. Presumably it would be helpful to set your car up accurately. It would be nice to meet at LSV.
Your lastest mods. sound good, I reckon the bigger anti roll bar together with the strut brace will really focus the front end.
What difference will the diff. cover make?

Cool the diff due to larger oil capacity & stop the leak I currently have. Yours is similar and oil cooled so you will not have any problems Tom.

Great, hope we can find a time to meet there. Didn't know you had a leaky diff.
You car should be really fierce when its finished.
LSV do have a really good stock of parts inc. glass. Probably also have more spares for Monaro's than most Vauxhall dealers carry, as they sold & tuned Monaro's way before it was decided that Vauxhall would sell them.

Look forward to it Will. Lets hope your HSV gets properly sorted, now LSV have all the new kit.
LSV deserve some good publicity as they made a big commitment to assist HSV/Holden owners long before GM decided that Vauxhall should sell Monaro's & other tuners came on the scene.
The link with CAPA in Aus. was with hindsight an unfortunate one, but those days are I believe over.

Agree mate, they are trying hard to get it right and provide a very needed service.

I wish them all the best.

Rob.

Sounds like a great excuse for a LSV HOLDEN dyno day to get them back on the map

Thought most favoured the Dynapack hub Dyno, not 'Rolling Roads'

Dynapack is a relatively new entry. Both have their good points and bad.
There isnt much wrong with a good RR setup such as DynoDynamics when compared to a Dynapack.

The Dynapack is a lot more expensive though.

I'd be a bit curious to hear other bad stories about CAPA ?? I know my experiences with their product wasnt great.
Just being nosey really.

Nothing wrong with a comparison & no doubt we would get it a lot cheaper for the day, I'll go to Abbey after.

Happy to take emails on disatisfaction issues rather than get into a public debate.

My answer to that Will is what goes round comes round.
ie I do Rolling Roads but Dynopack is the answer,so I do Dynopack and Rolling Road is on the agenda. The bhp/torque comparisons will continue!!!!!

Happy to receive an email from you Brian but I have had enough of this forum of late, pointless arguing/debating/ranting etc so I fancy not being public for a change

At the end of the day, all RR or Hub Dyno numbers are pub talk.

Its the black dyno that matters. If it doesnt perform on the road or track then dyno numbers are totally meaningless, regardless of the type of Dyno.
