A close contact to Peter Brock in Australia has been in contact with me about Peter at the event. he has passed my details on to Peter.

I have not heard back from Peter as yet, will let you know when I do ok.

I e-mailed Brockys'people a few weeks ago, and told them about the Forum members interest in him attending, but didn't get a reply. Also had a letter expressing the same in Unique Cars. I'm sure he must be aware of the interest in him here. Be great to find out where he's staying,i.e. if it's in this area, and maybe meet him before or after the event. What a scoop for somewhere like the Walkabout if they could get him in there. The Daily Echo would be all over him like a rash. Wonder if the sailors on HMAS Anzac know he'll be here the same time as them? There's gotta be a few Holden fans on that.Whadya say mate?

G'day Mick,

Peter Brock knows the Holden UK Register well & has been involved with the Club before.

Two yrs ago he sent over some signed Brock Shirt's & certificates for prises, to be presented at our Holden Day show that we held during the VBOA event at Billing. Peter sent these items with a close associate of his from Rare Spares in Melbourne. This is the person that has contacted me & passed my details on to Peter.

So all I can do is wait to see if Peter contacts me about meeting up at Goodwood. If not I’m sure we will get a chance to meet him, sometime over the weekend.
