Hi Caspy,

Paul Spinks told me that you have had your VXR remapped by him.

Did it make any noticable difference? Would you recommend it to others?

Thanks mate

Thanks mate - will have to look at that when I get home!

Did it take long to do?

Can take a while, each car is different and Wortec tune to that end, not just an off the shelf pcm that may or may not be the most optimal tune for the car.

But well worth the time!!!

Sounds good to me. Have you done anything with the induction?

Found a bit of drain pipe out the back, cut it and a hole. Basic stuff but very effective.

Really? I had a look at the box last night, but I couldn't see how it all fits together. Was it easy to get the box out? Any chance of some advice or pics when you have time? (I'm really keen to do it tomorrow night before my trip to Brands)

Thanks mate

Did they use a rolling road to set up the timing ? I scanned a few WOT runs the other night and was surprised to see it only running about 10° advance !!!
The general opinion on the forums is that 28° is more the norm, so maybe I've got plenty to come from my tune....
