Slave cylinder

do i need worry about Shims and Billet aluminium instead of plastic for the slave throw out in doing clutch LS7

Also is it possible install flywheel before install starter motor as i use the starter fixings for locking tool or can you get it in loose without bolting before flywheel install

Lastly today i think Is it good idea change from rubber to braid clutch line or is this overkill I presume this is above the transmission somewhere
