re map question

I HAVE OWNED A 2002 REG GTS-R FOR THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND HAVE FOLLOWED THE HSV FORUM. MY CAR HAS A COLD AIR INDUCTION AND VERY LITTLE EXHAUST TO SPEAK OF. I HAVE READ WITH INTREST THE POSSIBLE BENEFITS OF HAVING THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RE MAPPED. WOULD ANYONE OUT THERE AGREE? AND IF SO WHAT SORT OF POWER GAINS COULD I EXPECT. P.S. THE CAR WILL BE AT GOODWOOD TOMMORROW AT THE GOLDTRACK EVENT IF ANYONE WANTS TO SAY HELLO.

titan - If you haven't done so already, I'd have a chat with Mark at Linden SV (see above links) who prepared your car when it arrived in the UK and knows all about the do's & don'ts of GTS-R tuning, having worked on most of them.

"Titan" I missed you today at Goodwood, but had a chance to have a look at the car.............

I see you must do a few track days as the front seats look a bit focused for road work!!!!

From the look of it the car is one of the last three GTS-R sold as it is VX1 and has the fabulous GTS (OZ) wheels like "v2hsv" and "HSVGTSCoupe"

Next time you are down I will pop over as I only live up the road and have data logged/tuned my car there a few times.

N2 HSV - Saw your car at LSV having a new exhaust fitted. What else did you have done? The car looked great & it was the first time I had seen a VX GTS-R. Loved the wheels.

n2hsv. yes my car is 001. ukhsv. sorry missed you at goodwood,car doesn't do trackdays as too loud at 105 db,spent all day going round in bruvs clio cup.we're there quite often as we also live close to track. i do have the original "chairs" but prefer the race seats,did you like them? car is booked in with austec racing in crawley for remap. they say they will dyno before and after.i will post results.
