I think carmonkey is talking about these guys:

www.micronetshowroom.co.uk

I've never heard of them before so can't comment.

Be careful of 'hidden' charges. Collection from Micronet Showroom, Nottingham (£380) or Home Delivery (£480).

Does the price include Tax & plates?

Carmonkey, be very careful. i did a google search a few months ago on micronet showrooms and came up with lots of horror stories. checkout www.talkaboutautos.com look under 'uk car imports'. if it seems to be too good to be true it usually is.
Shame though - as great prices.

There new cars from stock section shows Monaro VXR at £35497!!!

Think they are not adding VAT to their quote price. They don't show a VAT breakdown.

Too good to be true......sorry to say.

On Vauxhall 'built to order cars' they do not include VAT in their prices. They may say as much on the phone, but the online quotes do not mention they include or exclude VAT. Very misleading.

thanks polak and everone for your advice , having now read up on micronet scam i will steer well clear

There are other internet providers who claim to offer savings i would be very interested to hear from anyone who has made a saving

shame realy i was begining to think i could get a vxr in my budget , mabe a used one is still possible

its terrible that micronet are able to keep trading there seems to be such poor protection for the consumer in the UK the law is an ass

anyway thanks guys its down to forums like this that we consumers have some protection at last by sharing information

cheers
