VXR8/Monaro parts availability and servicing

Hi Guys,

I used to have a 2007 Monaro VXR, back in around 2012 I think, however I sold that to make way for a house deposit. While I had it it was serviced and repaired at Monkfish. However I've been saddened to hear that they have closed down for business. I'd really like to get back in to the seat of a 2009 VXR8 but I am worried about parts availability these days. How are Vauxhall themselves with parts? I hear good things about Walkinshaw, do they have a comprehensive selection of spares?

Servicing shouldn't be a problem any decent garage will be able to service these cars.

There are a few specialists dotted around the country - where are you based?

Most parts are readily available in the UK or otherwise easily ordered from the US / Australia.

As suggested, Walkinshaw or LS Performance in Southampton should be able to sort out things or availability directly from Aus/US.

I use TopCats racing in Aylesbury. I see a few Monaros and VXR8s there. No complaints.
