Who fancies it on a near-future Sunday and also name the place that would suit you best, from the following choices.

CHESTERFIELD
DERBY
MANSFIELD
NOTTINGHAM
SHEFFIELD

I can make any and have a meeting place in mind for all of them.

Notingham, Derby or Mansfield would suit me best. Never been to one. What's it all about?

Depends on the weekend....but seems the Silverstone do is the ideal big meet, if going to be in August.

Ill be up for it so long as the clubbie is ready by then, would love to meet up with others from the south and drive up together if anybody else is keen?? I am going to Silverstone as well so would be best for me if it was early August or after the Brands Hatch thing on the 21st

Silverstone is on the 14th, 7th might be to close for most although I would come for the drive if others from the south are going.

I guess a better date would be 31st July or early Sept

I will make Derby, best for me if not too close to the Silverstone do.

31st July or early Sep suit me. 7th is World Air Race championships at Longleat (I cant miss those airborne touring cars!) & Will's Brands Hatch meet is 20/21st Aug. Add S'stone & I think August is a no no except for maybe 27/28th?. I'm in Japan & Oz from 11th Sep to early Oct.

I should be ok for the 24th Sept, cant commit for definate yet tho as having break in Cornwall around that time and it depends what week I can get off work. I know I originally started the whole 'meet up' thread, but it was so I knew I wasnt missing anything while the clubbie is off the road!!

Been advertised on the telly, go to the website & order f.o.c., that is if I new the web ady. RR Melin engines supercharged to twice the HP plus cut off wings & mad aerobatics, many die in the US racing them, Discover channel did a docu on it a while back.

International Kite Festival that w/e for me and a few smarts or Holdens in Southsea that w/e.
