Brake glitch

Monaro 2005 CV8 with AP Racing brakes. Working fine and as normal when driving but just as it comes to a stop ( last 5mph ) I get what I describe as ABS chatter ( not every time ).
Has anyone else experienced this ? Anyone got any ideas as to what it might be ?

it could be some debris on the disk or pads take it for a bit of a harder run , do a few hard brakes , then see if it keeps doing it

big brakes dont get up to temp in normal road use, usually get a little pad transfer that causes judder.

a few big stops usually helps clean it off

If the previous advice doesn't work then I would take the pads out and clean everything including the disc and caliper don't forget to put some lube on the backing plates of the brake pad so it won't stick in the caliper.

Quick update : I have a faulty NSF ABS sensor. I know the sensor is part of the hub assembly and needs to be replaced as a unit but just before I order one from Rock Auto i was wondering if this part is unique to Monaro or is there a UK alternative ( Omega for example ) ?

Make sure the ABS wiring connector behind the wheel is ok. Mine needed some conducting grease applied under warranty to cure a dodgy electrical connection.
