"Mr Blazevic said the decision to complete the latest Monaro chapter applied only to the Australian and New Zealand markets. HSV and the various export markets would make announcements in due course regarding their programs."

So either production transferred to the US as has been rumoured previously, or the axe will fall I recon. Either way no more RHD Monaro's.

Hopefully, the 4 door SS or HSV range makes its way over by way of replacement

Please note that it only says 'Monaro for Australia and New Zealand.'
Nothing about production stopping for other Monaro 'based' vehicles.
I think that tells alot, and means that Pontiac will still be supplied, as well as HSV for their 2 door models and the Vauxhall VXR.

Hmm, so you recon the few RHD Monaros for the UK and that HSV take will justify being kitted out for RHD?

We will see which is why I said RHD might be for the axe.
Hopefully not, but I cant see it being economical for a few hundred vehicles.

I believe the Monaro WILL be back later in the new model.

As the article said,

Mr Mooney said GM Holden continued to investigate options for a next generation coupe with other divisions of General Motors.

“Everyone at Holden is certainly committed to delivering a new generation Monaro in the future but there is still a lot of work to make that happen. We’re looking at a number of options to ensure Holden continues to set the standard when it comes to performance coupes in the future.

“Monaro means too much to Holden to not have another Monaro at some time in the future.”
