Vauxhal have AXED the Monaro. As Production has just stopped in Australia. Last UK car expected in March 06.

Don't see this effecting the 4 Door HSV. Pity.

But maybe they have somether F-Body LS Car coming through via the US.

Hiya,

Think thats been mentioned recently on here if i remember correctly?

Personally i dont find that to badder news, it will help keep Monaros a pretty rare sight on the UK roads. For me thats alwyas been one of the great appeals of the Holden/Vauxhall V8s!

Evening,

So long Monaro, but hello LS2 6.0 Litre in all of the Ozzie Commodores from VE models.
I dunno what the set up is in the UK but here you will be able to buy an Executive model Commodore from that model, with the 6.0 Litre motor for around $40k Aust.
That to us is about a $25k saving on the HSV product and with better power to weight ratio.
We will also be able to get the biggun in Wagons as well.
Next news is that a fairly good source states that the 7.0 Litre Corvette motor won't be far away too.

Cheers,

Hogs.
