I have just been quoted £765 for fully comp insurance for my Monaro. Wife and I to drive, 1 sp30 conviction, business use, on driveway, medium risk postcode, both low 30's age.

Does this seem reasonable or can anybody reccomend a Monaro friendly insurer?

Does anybody offer track day cover?

Regards

Dont know if this is any help,

Myself, 28 5years NCB, 1 X SP30 garaged fully comp with condition of having a tracker and all mods declared £850 fully comp. Thats with Greenlight who ive used in the past on my cosworth and they was always very good...

Give em a bell, see if they can beat it?

Hi Benno,

Sounds reasonable to me. I went with Admiral as theirs was the cheapest quote I could get for my Monaro. Mine was in the region of £650, same sort of cover as you but without the SP30.

Cheers,

Neil

52 max ncb garage south yorkshire.
No convictions (yet).
Me only driving, hire car not required.
I checked them all and this was best.

Vauxhall Insurance - £617 age 52/full protected NCB/wife added/on driveway/+ business use

Be very careful of the Tracker and Immobiliser requirements - make sure whatever is on the car is specified on their approved list. Many insurance companies seem to be using this as a way of avoiding paying out in case of theft.

My immobiliser had to be replaced, at the Vauxhall dealers cost, before the Vauxhall insurance policy was valid.
