What are Vauxhall up to whilst Holden produce sexy V8 super saloons?

It heralds a family of low ride height, inspirational all-wheel-drive niche performance vehicles

other than that great, but a 4wd drive hsv just somehow would not be right.

This is exactly the kind of car I'm looking for to replace the Cupra and Corrado. I hope they build it and import it into the UK!

This shows just how stupid the US market really is - compare this to our pathetic Lincolns and Bonnevilles...

Er, isn't the Chevrolet Lumina SS the basically the same thing?
5.7 litre V8 aggressive looks and they go well.

Might be wrong

The SSX has been around for awhile now. It was first shown at the Sydney Motor Show in Oct 2002.More pictures of it and some text can be found on www.cardesigns.com/news and indigoid.net/gallery
That green colour looks suspiciously like what is now called Hothouse found on Monaros and Maloos.
Also at the show was HSVs Monaro 427.
Isn't the Commodore in HSV and SS forms what the Omega should have been? If it were,it may not be in the decline it is now.Maybe Kevin Wale should have taken over at Vauxhall much earlier. If he had there may have been a few more Holdens here.
Holden have recently released the Avalanche down there. It's a 4wd estate with an auto box and hits 62mph in 6.4
Chairman and MD Peter Hanenberger retired from Holden in January. He is responsible for the healthy state of Holden. He went home to Germany with a black LHD Monaro in his suitcase. Is it the only LHD Monaro in Europe?
Fingers crossed for the E-E Monaro at Mondello
