G'Day chaps.

If you point your browsers at http://phantomv8.no-ip.info/gallery2/main.php you'll not only be able to see the pictures I took at the weekend but you'll also be able to register, create your own albums, and upload your own pic's. The latter is for those who don't have web space. When registering I suggest you register with your hsv.org nickname to make things easier. You don't have to register if all you want to do is browse.

My pictures are stright from the cameras so some will be ditched & others edited.

If you have any issues, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. If you want any pictures editing let me know. If I see any pictures that I think could benefit from a tweak I'll do the tweak & post back to the original author.

Please note that this server is my home PC so no doubt the response will be slow with everyone uploading, downloading, viewing, and me editing all at the same time. Please be patient. I've only dedicated 15GB to this area so I hope that's enough for now. I'll have a dedicated server working shortly. As this is a home PC I cannot guarantee a 24x7 operation but I'll keep it switched on for as long as possible.

The gallery supports MPEG1/2 movies but these will no doubt kill the bandwidth so be careful where you put them. I suggest you create a sub-folder called 'movies' or 'videos' and pop them in there. That way if people are viewing the slideshowit won't hinder others too much.

All the best and I hope to see some of your pictures soon.

PS: I'm not going to do any backups of this filesystem on this temporary host so please don't delete your originals.

Apologies in advance to the automotive purists!! I've taken advantage of Steve's great facility & post a dozen of my fave snaps from the insane red bull air race two sundays ago. 350 neddies & 500kg... on a car we'd be looking at some very low numbers & these guys prove that power is the answer to all problems; using it to pull their machines from very unusual & insane attitudes VERY close to the deck!

I have no problem with 640x480 images. All my images are either 6,8, or 12 MegaPixel. If people want to upload at higher resolutions I'm cool with that.

Don't apologise for publishing your Red Bull pictures they're fantastic.

Great stuff!

Just so i know, on the either side exit exhaust, was the mic behind just one pipe on one side, or back from the car behind both pipes ?

Caspy, the sound was taken from the driver side exit in order to get the best sound with just 1 mic.
