How much do you pay for insurance?

I have been quoted an astonishlingly low £474 by Elephant.co.uk!
Full comp, £250 excess, protected ncb, 6000miles a year, Mrs N on the car too.
I know I'm an old git but 44 isn't that old really.

I actually went & did it all again to make sure I hadn't entered any info incorrectly and it came up with the same result.

Ummm. £751.00 - including mods and SP30. Not bad at all.

Hmm, mine comes out at £5187.00..
Must be the sp50 from 01 and a claim in Jan from an uninsured driver. Not nice.. I think Ill stick with Norwich Direct for £800.
