Is there an enlarged disc conversion using standard calipers?
I know full upgrade is best, but with alot of work being done on our house as of late i havent really got the funds for a good 6/pot set up :(
So i was thinking back to my Vectra GSI, on that i upgraded from 288mm disc to 308mm discs and used a special braket supplied in a kit which respaced the caliper to suit. It did make quite a big difference!, not as far as 4 pots would, but for day to day driving they worked miles better & looked good to boot!
if i could do this to the Monaro with a kit of sorts, then as an interim move id consider it, i dont drive mad hard anyway so something like this would be enough day to day.. and bigger discs behing the 18 inch rims would be more in keeping too!
So, does anyone do this? or do you have any recommendations?
