For any of the new Monaro owners out there here's a little snippet that may save you some time at your dealership. Don't worry that the battery charge warning light does not work! Vehicles fitted with the centre pod with oil pressure and battery voltage dials do not connect the circuit to the warning lamp in the right hand side of the instrument cluster. Took my dealership 2 visits, 5 days the second time to figure this one out. Replaced 2 body control modules, the instrument cluster and new ecu along the way, with a new alternator as the next step. All for nothing! Apparently Holden confirmed this is correct. So keep a closer eye on the battery voltage dial, it is your only indicator that the battery is being charged as there is no fault message programmed in the ecu for the display!
