Apparently bathurst is on tonight on Motors TV. Going to be watching at the Walkabout in Portsmouth. Apparently it is live and starts at 10pm, but their schedule doesn't reflex that though.

Cool.

Motors TV is French so the concept of a schedule is fairly foreign to them.

According to the official V8 Series www site the race times are, all local (Sydney), 10:00 - 17:45.

Which, with a 9 hour time difference as I calculate it, means the race starts at 01:00 Sunday our (UK) time.

Although I could be wrong but I hope not as I have asked my brother to start recording at 00:55.

Pretty sure the actual race starts at 10am local which is 1am early Sunday morning UK time. The channel 10 telecast starts at 7am Oz time, 10pm Saturday night UK time!
Confused?
For info Fords are on the front row, Lowndes and Ambrose, then a batch of Holdens! Murphy,Skaife,Tander, Steven Richards, Jason Richards.
Seton, Jim Richards and Ingall round out the top 10.

Going to be watching it at the pub. Not sure if they have a video recorder there or not, but might go check it out and hook one up. If anyone wants to come down to portsmouth to watch it, feel free. Coverage is till 8am UK time.. so going to be a long night..

What an awesome race... ended up finding a place to watch it... mind you slept for about an hour and half just before the last big prang...

About time ambrose got taken out... got absolutely no time for him at all.

For everyone like myself that missed the coverage last night, Motors TV are replaying it at 4pm today. Well they are advertising it as V8 Supercars Replay, so I am just assuming it's Bathurst again..

Great race! good to see Holden do it again! good on you Mark and Todd! another great win for HRT.
Good 2nd place too for the Dodo Racing Commodore. Well done.

What is it with Ambrose? he will have to lose that attitude when he goes to race Nascar. they won't put up with it.Perhaps it's because he drives a F**D!

Yeah... had enough of ambrose... what annoys me most is that the last couple of years of V8 supercars has turned into a dodgem car race, where it doesn't matter if someone's car gets smacked up, and usually ambrose is at the centre of it.

To me it is a thing where I think all of the drives should just ask him to leave.. There is winning and then there is running every other car off the track, just because I am Marcus Ambrose.

Yes Marcose RAM-BROSE, got what he deserves from the race, F all !

He thinks that if he gets up alongside anyone, he has the right to just turn in & they will back off. Poor Murphy kept his line & had every right to stay where he was for the corner, there was room on the outside for DH to go with him around the corner, but he chose to turn in on Murph's thinking he would back out of it. He was wrong !

If he claims Murphy should have backed off & let him through, well so should have he when he didn't back off at Eastern Creek when he forced Skaifey off & got away with it.

Loved it when he had to come in the pits to put the Balaclava on

Good ridens to him, like Treve has said, they won't put up with him in Nascar, when he starts that. He's gona end up in the wall a few time.

Anyway, GREAT Race, fantastic to see the HARROP prepaired Dodo Racing Team come in second, well done Jason & Jamie.

SKAIFE IS KING !!

RAMBROSE IS DH AGAIN

For those in the UK without Digital TV, Channel 5 are showing a highlights package as follows:

Tuesday night(18th)/Wednesday (19th) morning 03:45 - 05:15 Supercars Bathurst.

Also the Craig Lowndes incident, where the wheel almost came through his windscreen, no in-car footage appeared in the original broadcast. It can be found here. The guy was very lucky.
