Hiya,

Ive been collecting 1:18 models for a good few years now, usually through diecastlegends.com, however, they dont carry HSV or Monaro models and apparently after some correspondance are likely too for a good time yet!

Ive looked on ebay, but most sellers are in Australia and i fear postage could be too much!

So do any of you guys know of, or recommend a good online, or off line UK company through whom i can order from? Im lookinf for the AutoArt 1:18 Monaro in Delft Bleu (closest i can find to my impulse blue) and the 1:18 Monaro CV8 V2 in sliver as i need the wheels from it as they are the later style....

Any suggestion please?

( ive just found this site http://www.carinabox.com/ who stock theses models... are they any good has anyone ever used them?)

Cheers

Mike

G'day Mike,

It just so happens that I have a yellow CV8 still in the box that I am willing to let go of at a reasonable price..make me an offer Also have a second yellow CV8 and yellow HSV GTS but I want to keep those. I bought mine from Biante online, they have an auction site there and the postage wasn't too bad.

Not a problem at all Mike, look forward to hearing from you. I will also throw in a few Street Machine and Wheels magazines, would a shame to just bin them.

Hi Mike
Try MCD (Model Cars Direct) 01273 324023, or Swap Meet in Nottm. 0115 9313075. I get most of mine in Aus from gateway.com.au A $300AUD order gets free p&p. I believe they charge $30 per single 1/18th scale. Be prepared to spend money if you look there!! They do the superb Classic Carlectables range as well as Biante. Problem is that exchange rate is rubbish at the mo' Take up Adrians offer for starters.
Best of luck

You want a barbie doll to go with it as well. Susan has to have something to play with while you rip your toy along the carpet raceway.

Umm, maybe could have a barbie and 1:18 scale modelling comp...

Hey Julian
There's a black one by Biante in 1/64th,with red interior!
Superb model but very small.Available from Gateway in Brisy $9.90 AUD They've got a 1/18th Sting Red car at $85 or a dark green one at... $250.00 !!
You would have to want one pretty bad to pay that.
regards
Mick
