Discussion
It has an Australian NCAP www.aaa.asn.au/NCAP/ozindex.htm#L-MCars

Didnt know the Monaro had side airbags though?? where are they then? (and no cheap puns about em being in the sides!!)

I've just looked - they appear to be in the sides of the seats.

There's a 1998 Omega in here but it won't be comparable.
Having said that, since I learned that having stuff like a seatbelt reminder light or a stupid beeper can increase your overall NCAP rating.

Yeah, seems a bit of a stupid rating system doesn't it. Doesn't matter what rating the car has, if you forget to put the seatbelt on, well dude, your in for a world of trouble if you have an accident.
Does that mean if I put a seatbelt on my office chair and make it beep, I get two stars? Mind you, wouldn't like to be thrown at a wall at 64km/hr. Actually must say though, was supprised at the level of damage of hitting at 64km/hr.
