I would have snapped you hand off if the colour had suited my requirement.
Best of luck with the sale, sounds a beauty.

IMHO I think if you want to shift it on you might be looking at somewhere around £18K.
Autocar depreciation is stated as being £16K year 2 and £12K year 3 on the monaro.
These kinds of things feed into the greens books and stuff. Unless you get someone that "wants" it. Thats what it will be worth.
The Vauxhall badge doesnt help. Pity as its an excellent car.

as they disappear next march from the showrooms the depreciation will slow dramatically as they become more of a collector's item.I'd be surprised to see them actually drop that quickly in value due to limited numbers of the cars and the niche place they have in the market. God forbid we end up with chavs racing round the streets in 18 months in 12k cars!!

Only time will tell, but the much rarer HSV 4dr hasn't faired that well. Although no worse than comparably priced saloons.
Hopefully in the future the HSV's & Monaro's will find a reasonable plateau somewhere above £10k, beyond which only really rough ones will fall.
The performance/rarity factor should ensure this, I hope!!!!

Just wait till Vauxhall start bringing in 4 door sedans in a year or two.
That will be a good test. I think values should "track" the values of the vehicles in Oz/Nz, though this argument has been had before and Im sure my point has been well pressed.
The 4 Doors at around £13K match Oz/Nz prices so are around there now.
Monaros are around £18K there so prices there are pretty well right to.
In Oz/Nz Monaros are fairly sought after as they have the top spec in trim.
At the end of the day, the cars are only worth what someone will pay for them.
