I'm currently awaiting my redundancy - and after that, hopefully I can get a decent paid job and then start getting myself sorted.

When I was at MPH '05 I was chatting to the nice VX lady about the Monaro and she was quite adamant that there would still be VXRs available until the end of '06.
How true is that?

I'd love to buy new (if possible) and have my tiny heart set on a black VXR. Am I kidding myself?

I know there are a few dealers on here - can you clarify for me?

My understanding is that the cars will keep coming into the country until end of April 06, so there will be a good supply to be had through the year.

However, I am sure Picador will be able to tell you more as he's always very helpful.

Right then!

I'll save my pennies.. unless a really good 2nd hand one turns up (in black), I'd like new. At least then I'll know it's history.

Although I guess I'd be happy to buy off someone here - you guys seem to love your cars.

YES! Exactly like that one! ^^

I must admit that I've yet to be in one while in motion so I may yet hate it.. but I REALLY don't expect that to be the case.

I went for black. I've had red cars before and have had paint fading problems with them so this time around decided not to go there again. And silver looks unpainted to me. So Phantom Black it had to be. Here's mine!

If I knew how to add a picture to this reply I could show you how cool a silver VXR does look! Black shows up too many marks (from water to mud), red is uncool.

Awesome.. it's probably one of the nicest silvers I've seen.

Ah the choice...
