'Check Engine'
Discussion
Well, I was in traffic..... I phoned Vauxhall who said I shouldn't drive it and should take it round to them so they can investigate the problem, not really sure how I would do that without driving it ;-)
Shortly before this happened I was driving through Wimbledon and checked my speedo and saw I was doing 180mph this soon settled to a steady 200mph, (it didn't seem to bother the police car I was passing at the time!) To resolve this issue I stopped (60mph) and switched off and back on and it hasn't happened again.

My speedo did the same. 200mph in a 30mph limit - one for the photo album. Also found my Rev Counter was 1000 out of calibration, but like you all OK when I rebooted. I think Bill Gates must write the software. I reckon this is a regular problem - I read in Autocar the same thing happenned to their VXR.
Not had the engine warning yet though. I'll keep a look out.

Belmont Vauxhall in Edinburgh replaced my whole display panel after mine did this. Apparently it is a common problem and there is a SB on this.
