alloy wheel help

well, i do have sausage fingers but trying to get the dust covers off the wheel nuts is a joke, was i supposed to get a tool for this with the car or do i have to resort into bullying them into jumping off the nut lol. i don't fancy having to purchase a new set each time because i have let the pliers loose on them. can anyone help cheers.

you do get a tool its like large plastic tweezers, yellow if i remember
