Ladies & Gentlemen, I propose the Mercedes Sprinter van (lwb)

Nothing can outrun them, nothing can get past them.
They are quicker point to point than a bike courier and have no limit to their top speed.

Can anyone top that?

Not quite as quik and versatile as the white van but any rental car in 1st gear will give it a run for it's money! Park anywhere too.

Toyota supply a landcruiser prado to the Aussie market with a 180 litre diesel tank.
Thats the fastest (legal speed limit) vehicle as you only need to stop for fuel 1/3rd of the time. Unless your missus makes you stop at every antique store.

At top speed they are a match to my smart, most annoying as I have to wait for inclines to get past

I was hassled out of the right lane at 120mph by a Vauxhall Vivaro a few weeks ago! Must be a van thing.
Ditto the rental cars and company cars.
On the subject of fast and 1st gear, consider the '04 Yamaha R1 for example, clicks into 2nd gear at around 105mph...
