I got through to semi-finals!
Discussion
Hi everyone
For those that remember that I have just taken part in qualifying round one and two of the MX-5 Scholarship will be pleased to hear that I heard on Friday I got through to the semi-finals! (50 people go through from 100 originally).
My other half Rob_78 will be my support next week on Tuesday when we have to go back up to Teesside again for the semis. Aghhhhhh!
Wish me luck!

Thanks for asking guys....
Unfortunately I didn't make it through to the finals, this was partly down to the fact I had a car accident (my first and hopefully my last!) a week before and found it really caught up with my subconscious and I couldn't take risks on the track and push the car like I did before, so I was definitely slower. However I got in some really smooth and consistent laps and I know I passed on personality and enthusiasm.
I haven't given up though, I'm entering the Renault Clio 'How many times can I roll this thing?' Cup for next year as I believe they're doing a scholarship scheme and the head of PR is now my new best friend. Well he sent me a Renault watch anyway!

P.S Here's a little tip: Steer away from those Scoobie WRX STIs, they're wild and have the car equivalent of ADHD
