Hi there! Been watching the happenings on the forum for a while now whilst dreaming of owning a monaro - and now I've got one! I picked up my second hand 2005 devil yellow CV8 yesterday morning and I've hardly been out of the thing. I love it to bits! Although is it normal that after only 36 hours of ownership I'm already planning the wortec cat back exhaust and re-map?

I saw a post on here that mentioned Guildford cruise on 5th March. I'm planning to go anyway to let the Chevy lump mingle with it's cousin's, so hope to see a few of you down there.

there are of course other upgrade options available. Both LSV and WRC offer tuning and exhausts for the Monaro. Just because the Wortec one is popular doesnt make it the best - might be worth shopping round and see what options are before parting with cash. Sure there will be people on here can tell you their experiences with all the different setups. There are for example a number of people on here who would advise on getting the brakes upgraded first - before you try to go faster.
