Congratulations Jagsy! I received the phone message! My colleague is processing a load of Oz bound traffic at the moment!!!! I'm on a break! 3.15am here!
When I left 17 years ago, some of the airlines had special one way immigrant fares that doubled your allowable luggage. Not sure if they still exist.

Yip thanks BOSS our chat earlier is more than appreciated - I will buy you a pint whether in the UK or Oz. I will speak to you again soon.

Moto - thak you looking forward to being back - you'll need a road trip and a break by the time we get there, so come across for some r & r. The migrant flight costs are quite a bit higher than other flights e.g. £700 one way compared to the £400 Bundaberg has been quoted.... something not right there!!!

Well done Jagsy, congratulations!! The Australian Government must be in a good mood as I found out on Wednesday that my fiance' has been granted her Australian Visa also and will be here in a month or so. I have been here since Wednesday and it's hot mate, very hot, humid and wet. I'm up in Cairns but heading to Newcastle (NSW) at the end of the week to start my new job. I have bought myself a brand new, 6 speed, Impulse Blue SV6 Sedan, yeah i know, not a V8. I needed it for work and the new V6's here have just as much horsepower as the old 5.0L V8. I pick the car up on Wednesday, I can't wait. Will post some pics when I get it.

If you need to move a lot of stuff over, try checking out www.excess-baggage.com they were alright with me and my boxes were waiting for me at home when I got here.

If you are reading this Rob, (EH*Rob that is) give me a shout at aussiedude151-at-hotmail-dot-com. Would love to hear from you and see how things are going.

So your going to pay less for a house, less for a car, half price petrol, what are you going to do with the rest of your money?

The only sensible thing... donate it to a worthy cause, for those who chase skirt and have beer to drink. Could turn into a full time career - I'm willing to be the first the first to try. Besides, he needs friends in Immigration.
