APS have finally signed off the engineering and have given us pricing & availability on their watercooled Twin Turbo install for 5.7 & 6.0 Monaro [Pontiac GTO]

There are "one off" deals for the first 5.7Litre and the first 6.0Litre cars to step forward for this.

Normal installed r.r.p. is £6495 for kit and £1900 installation, both plus vat. The first two will be done at really special prices.

See www.airpowersystems.com.au/ls1/us_ there is a great video on there. We will have this up on our site soon.

Looks a pretty comprehensive system.
Will it run ok on the LS2 with 11:1 compression?

For 6 psi it must be on stock compression and a single turbo would have been adequate. I guess they use 2 smaller items for packaging reasons. There must be a scavenge oil pump as the turbo's are really low down.

I've a turbo engine here on 7:1 cr using a pair of GT28's. After a lot of research I went for a McLeod twin plate with organic plates and yes, it's around about £1.2k with a steel flywheel but it's street friendly. Is that the sort of clutch that's being offered with this conversion or is the clutch an extra? The vette clutch will take about 500hp and an ls7 a bit more, after that they go to less user friendly single plate items.

Twin turbos are used for a number of reasons:-

Spool up
Ability to grow with mods [ceiling of 800+ BHP]
Packaging
Better control

The turbo install does not hang any lower than other parts of the car and it has a protection shield.

Clutch is open to owners wishes and is not part of the standard install
