Let you know if you have the same problem as me. Got a sore left arm, and a sore right foot. Left foot is ok at the moment for some reason, not sure why that is, will have to drive around some more to conduct the test, my right foot is killing me.

Took a blokes kids out from work here yesterday, as they place racing games all the time, and their favourite is the vauxhall monaro. Had to explain the whole, it's a Holden thing, but they understand what it is now. Their dad almost fell over himself when he found out I was getting one. Anyhow, the kids had smiles ear to ear, and were giving dad grief to increase their pay packet. One of them said, when there is hair on my arms, I will be able to drive one of these..

Anyhow, no time to write, got to go to Edinburgh to buy some milk. Should be back by midnight.

Why not Aberdeen, if you are road testing, Its a bit further!!!
On second thoughts, I need milk, can you get me some, and drop it in, on your UK road-test!
Oh what the hell, you might as well get my weeks shop for me while you're at it!

Aberdeen is no fun as a drive, there's speed cameras every mile from Dundee northwards. Got to be the worst stretch of road for cameras in the country - no wait theres the 40 mile continuous run of SPECS cameras on the A77 down past Ayr! Any roads with straights longer than 500yds seem to have been covered in fixed or mobile cameras. Lucky we've got so many "fun" roads up here with plenty of twists and turns.

No need for cameras - doing more than 60 on any of those roads up to Fort William will usually result in slamming into the back of a caravan round one of the blind bends

Thanks for that Gary - er...would love an SS in sand land but can only afford one & thats where they don't try to kill you ALL day, EVERY day - in UK!!! Am home at the mo but back on Tues! Have got a grin from ear to ear here - Super Unleaded ranges from 96p to £1.07p/ltr here so filling up is quite costly compared to Saudis 8.5p/ltr!! (although the exchange rate has gone to SR7.08/£ so thats less than 8.5p/ltr!!!) Already turned a few heads in my 'locals' car park when I called in to show it to the landlord & it was hot & sunny day!!

Nice to see you enjoying your new toy Paul. The Monaro's are thin on the ground here in darkest North Wales so you'll be turning heads everywhere you go with it here!

And you've had good weather to show it off as well. Hopefully catch you out and about one day.

Yeah, hope so, although I'm off back to sand land on Tues but I'll be back in 7 weeks to give it some more 'stuff' Have been & sorted Slaters in Colwyn bay out for the service too - seem to know what they're doing with it!
If we don't meet this time, then July would be good for a chat!

When you're this way again, give me a shout. I'd really love to see and hear what the famous mods are like in the flesh so to speak!

Slaters are my local bunch, well, they have to be as I only live 1 1/2 miles away from them! Generally they get good reviews for all things Monaro/VXR/VX 220.

I was in there yesterday morning funnily enough. Not the Monaro, but probably the worst Corsa Diesel ever made! It's only 1 1/2 yrs old and the amount of warranty work needed on it has been staggering. Spanish built cars are no match for the Aussie monsters!

But the dealership has been really good about it so I guess I'm happy with them for the time being.

Paul, I'm inland from Prestatyn a mile or so - we missed each other yesterday then by a bit...I was there around 3-4pm for a new battery which they changed for me under warranty & therefore FOC!!! Well impressed!
