Spent yesterday at the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart - AWESOME!!
I'm no tech head, but some of the cutting edge software & hardware used in the humble process of bringing to life our humble automobiles, is amazing!!
Some pics of the more photogenic items below, especially like the Alfa test mule called the "Diva" - never seen this before - nudges 300 neddies but weighs about the same as the balsa planes I made as a kid!
Also loved the carefully constructed Audi engine & multitronic trans demo system - and to think I don't really think twice about what goes on when you press the loud pedal - shame on me!
Fave moment of the day however was asking the pretty blonde thing on one of the stands "how do you feel about being the second most beautiful thing on the booth??" as she stood in the "shadow" of the yellow Lambo they also had there!
