Sold for Export - Help Required

Dont panic, It's not the 'ro that's gone....

I've just sold my BMW to a guy in (southern) Ireland and I'm a bit confused about the V5 and working out which bit to fill in.

The purple part says to fill in if you are exporting but in theory, I'm not actually exporting the vehicle so do I need to fill that bit in ?


..or do I just put his address on the main bit and send that to DVLA

Just put on who you are selling it to and their address...you are not exporting it...he is

When I sold the Noble to a guy in Guernsey I also sent a covering letter to the DVLA at their request.

A bit more off topic here.....but I spent a few hours on Guernsey yesterday tuning a Monaro and was amazed at how many fast cars there are on a very small island with a max speed limit of 35mph

They even have a UTE on the island..................
