Hello,

Just to say a public "Thank You" to Roger (and Andy) at Monkfish and Paul from Wortec. I have just returned from a very long day, leaving at 6:20AM and travelling down and returning home about 10:20 (thanks to road works on the M60) - just had the full Sports Pack, Rip Shifter and gearbox oil change + minor soundproofing to the drive and gearbox tunnel.

Conclusion is OMG thats wicked, I know quite a percentage of you already have these mods but until it happens to your car its amazing. Car feels so much smoother when booting it, it sounds mean (yes, I like quiet but thats a nice noise) and finally is much more positive on the gearchange.

It should impress quite a few people over this weekends car show (reminds me to fit HSV.ORG.UK stickers).

Thanks
Steven

So you'll be ripping out all that soundproofing then ?
Totally concur - when the ill informed ask me why I've modified a car that already has over 300bhp I tell em that I've simply taken it's muzzle and lead off.
Hope your show goes well - looking forward to seeing you at Donnington.

LOL - Heck, no sound proofing stays. Roger even managed to get a little extra by the gearbox tunnel, it may help but I can't tell due to the exhaust noise. After this weekends show I plan to respray the wheels and then finish off the boot and cover the whole of the boot in the nice tidy foam soundproofing.

I can make it nice and quiet again buy just taking my foot of the loud peddle !!

Yeah, I am really looking for the loonies gathering in July, should be a hoot.

Cheers
