Hi, collected my one day old cv8 from Greens 10 days ago and I'm still grinning.....had the Wortec Sportpac installed. (mid-mufflers are still in the boot!)
On another thread, Greens applied A-Glaze to the body and interior.
I'm advised that I got the last available Monaro in Odyssey. Well chuffed.
Got nicely acquainted with it while driving home to West Dunbartonshire last Saturday. M6 traffic snarls gave plenty of time to explore the trip 'puter!
Did I mention I'm still grinning?

Is Odessey the striking blue metalic colour? I do love the Monaro in Black but having seen a car running around Wiltshire in the blue I can see why you would go for it.

Brian, you put in some weird hours I thought I was stretching the clock!
Booster, yep, that's the colour. I'm trying to figure out how to post a photo.

Hi Bigwheel,

Excellent choice in cars and colour Welcome to the Odyssey club, to put it another way you have one of 24 cars in that colour (25th is the scrappy one - poor thing).

Cheers
Steven

I like the thought of a rare colour. I still can't think of a good description of Odyssey.
If you click on bigwheel, there's a photo of my Monaro when I collected it at Greens.

welcome to the fold mate - if you read this and wanna meet up I'm at the West Coast charity cruise tonight down at Dunbarton - if you're free to come along. Not usually my scene but a load of the guys from the Vectra club I know are going along. Will be there sometime after 8pm. Raising money for Chas - usually well organised the mob running it and plenty police presence to keep the idiots away.

should have said its in the football club's carpark apparently, just down the road a little from Lyndsay Vauxhall on the A82 on the road to Helensburgh.

good to see you tonight John - car sounds great. Will email you more info on this months Loch Lomond meet up. I'm sure you'll be the talk of day with you having a new Monaro - totally different from the ones most of the guys have seen before.

Good to meet yourself and Mrs.Well_fans. Shame about the midges!
Lomond Shores will be better. Catch up with you in a couple of days........Ron

About the long drive home, thanks Moosepig, had to be done. I wanted Greens to add the Wortec Sportpac and they could get the last Odyssey. Besides, a great way to get to know Monaro.
