One for the dealers I guess ...

Just curious but how unregistered cars are left now that Holden have stopped making them (in their current form)

There is definately 1 unregistered Silver 04 CV8 at our local dealership. It's on a display ramp and what appears to be 1 Black 05 VXR (demonstrator). So that'll the be at least 2.

I was told there were 30 black ones when I enquired about 3/4 weeks ago. Not sure about other colours. A dealer in Newbury (I think it was Newbury) did have a Silver one which he had to sell. It was brand new and £33,333

Do you know what the spread is between 04/05 CV8's & 04/05 VXR's?

All within a whisker of each other on sales. Red slightly less but not much in it.

Thats because red requires a slighly more discerning punter

I happen to think the VXR looks best in silver as it goes even though I have a red cv8.

I assume you mean the more 'careful' drivers? because as everyone knows red is the fastest....

Interesting discussion I just had with a Monaro dealer (Who shall remain anonymous )

Apparently in total there were approx 3,000 5.7's and about 1k 6.0's imported. A "couple of hundred" CV8's remain and 30-40 VXR's.

Doesn't this sound highly inflated figures?

What do you think long term depreciation will be Brian? If there are that few Monaros in the UK will they become a collectors item? Should I hold on to it in other words!

Jeff.

No, they will all depreciate down to £5.

I tell you what, I will do you all a favour and buy them for £10 each
