I got a ticket for parking that much of my tyre over double yellows one night in Glasgow after midnight - who says traffic cops don't have anything useful to do.

The only problem is that a parking ticket is meant as a deterrent, anyone that has a Bugatti really couldn't care about a measly £50 or whatever it is.

So whats the point of ticketing them?

Here in Bournemouth, if you are a local nightclub owner/drug dealer and have a flash car, you park it on double yellows out the front of a pub in the town centre, then applaud the traffic warden as he gives you your ticket as you sip your stella and leave it there regardless.
Im ashamed to say I find this act big and clever and intend on doing it myself as soon as I become rich. Anytime now no doubt...
