Must have some serious tuning on it, standard LS7 is circa 500bhp I think.

0-60mph in 1.6secs? must also have rear tyres about a metre wide to get traction!

If it was April 1st you would still think what an obvisou joke....

As you say 0-60 1.6 secs. I wonder where and under what conditions that was achieved i.e. was it street legal?

Mmmm, Veyron does 0-62mph in 2.5 secs!
Wonder what an F1 car does 0-60 in? Traction is the enemy.

Give or take 0.2 secs an F1 car would be around the same as the Veyron.

Incidently did you know that any car on sale in the UK now would beat Thrust SSC to 60mph? It was a bit of a slouch and took 35 seconds

It won't be stock ls7 in any way, shape of form if it intends to make those figures for a reasonable length of time.

No way is that 0-60 time representative, certainly not on road-legal boots. I can't see it accelerating that fast without 4WD and drag rubber at each corner.

I was perusing the website and I love the way it says "Space age technology" or "Space age matierals". Wasn't the space age the 1960's...??? Made out of nylon and bakelite with a valve-operated ECU is it...? Sorry. Just a small bugbear of mine...

That looks rather serious, a veritable bargain compared to the Veyron too! I would like to see that around the TopGear track...

Thanks,

The top end of that motor uses what look like Gale Banks parts so it's unlikely to be an ls7. I think it's an earlier derivitive with an aftermarket alloy block.

A blown ls7 would make those figures but not with it's chocolate pistons

Wow. Good catch...

Not sure about this 1.67 seconds to 60 malarkey though - I suspect this is one destined to fizzle out and die sooner than most similar lfights of fancy... and I'm usually one to fear the best from the newcomers, to be honest ;-)

Ciao

bugger, I was at the motorshow yesterday - missed that one.
Worth a visit to see the BAR Honda thats like an exploded diagram, EVERY single component, nut, bolt and washer is suspended from the ceiling - amazing to look round.
