05 exhaust on an 04

Anyone know whether there are any underbody issues fitting an 05 exhaust to an 04? I appreciate the bumper cutouts are different but not sure about the underneith.

It's been done in the USA and is actually quite common but you would either need to buy a new rear bumper or have the balls to cut out a slice of your own.

Not quite that easy! There is the small matter of a fuel tank that is in the way to contend with!

Anything can be done, but it won't be easy.

The 04 GTO's are not the same as our 04 Monaro's. Their fuel tank is behind the seats like our 05's.

Thanks guys, I did wonder whether the fuel tank being in a different location in the 05 would be the issue.
