That is not a good looking car I'm afraid, I can't understand why people are drooling over it.

Ok it's not a bad looker, it's just so...bland.

At least the last generation Holdens stand out a bit but those could be anyone of a number of cars froma distance - Vectra, Saab 95, Skoda Octavia, hell they could even be the Focus saloon.

Want to see one in the flesh.

Wait till you see it in the metal. SS, SS-V and SV are all pretty forcefull lookers. Also the body has lots of shape to it, and will look best in matalics. The base models do look a little underdone, but they are aimed at fleets and the the mum and dad market segments.

Just needs a sexier set if alloys, and that's about it. Holden, please take note.

I know the Ute and wagons will arrive before any new coupe, just wish they'd get a move on

Still, I guess there's the question of whether the new Pontiac GTO will be a twin of the Monaro again (which is likely), and if so, will the Pontiac be built down under again, or in Canada with the new Camaro.

My guess is the GTO will be built in Australia, although this time around, the Americans will want much more agressive styling.
