The side bolster on my drivers seat looks a bit worn from where it gets rubbed when you get in and out of the car. Can anyone recommend something to make it look nice again and that blends well with the existing colour?

Cheers.

I treat mine once a month with Autoglym leather care to help reduce the problem. Dont know that it would help much with restoring colour if its faded.

Well it looks grey (like the polish has come off) on the bits that have been rubbed. There a million and one leather treatment products out there so I was just after a recommendation of something that people have used and had good results with.

I don't wear white jeans :P

if its any help I know a couple of guys that repair leather sofas that swear by the autoglym stuff - say its better than anything they've come across for cleaning and protecting leather. Thats what got me using it.

you need to get it reconnolised which adds the colour back to the leather, any of the leather treatment products can just add moisuture to the damaged part of the leather...

Have found that Poorboys leather stuff cleaner/restorer is dead good at keeping this sort of thing at bay.

Baby oil - I kid thee not. Put it on, wait 24 hours and then buff. It really does do wonders.

I got some of that autoglym stuff so hopefully that'll help but it looks like it'll need recolouring at some point. Surely you must be able to buy some sort of black polish specifically for seats?

as above you get the seat reconnolised to restore the colour

its not expensive and refinishes the leather like new

Don't know the end-provider - was TVR Redhill that reconelized the car (years ago)
