as I understood it originally the floor mats were included with all new Monaros- sure they appeared on the equipment list in the brochure. Anyway yes there are tailored mats for the Monaro complete with embroidered logos etc. Sure if you ask Caspy he can get you the part number and order them up. Iirc the replacement cost was around 120 quid.
I've got the dealer fitted mud flaps on, but only front ones. They found out that the set is only for the 04 CV8. The 05 CV8 has a different rear bumper so no-go there and from what I've found out, Holden didn't make any sets for the 05 CV8.
And to answer your question - no they don't look gay. They're quite subtle and I'm sure they've helped deflect a potential chipping stone on more than one occasion and the car is also staying a little cleaner.

Not as gay as a yellow car..............oops I'll get me coat
sorry, couldn't resist
I can't get my head 'round why so many people are against mud flaps and when they are, the usual 'they look gay ' thing keeps coming up.
The Monaro ones are quite subtle otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with them.
I drive through country lanes to get to work which are horrendously muddy and are forever being spray tarmac and gravelled.
So the upshot is, considering my dealership can't get the paint right and I want my car to stay looking nice I decided to do something about it. Does that sound gay or just someone just trying to protect their hard earned cash?

I've got mud flaps all round on the car - it came with them and as its a black car they actually match in quite nicely. Anyone wishing to cast aspersions re my sexuality can see me at Silverstone where I'll gladly introduce them to the blunt end of a large baseball bat

Hope you put a condom on it first

Good luck getting the mat fixings to line up & engage properly. I take mine out to clean them, then spend the rest of the day trying to fit them back in again, they're a nightmare
Now what you mean, after finding that the valeters at the dealer had broken the lugs off all four fastners i was surprised that they could be bought seperatly
(pn;92144589 kit of four £4.17) only to find that on fitting them myself that the lugs broke off again
ended up trimming about 0.5mm of the thickness of each tab between the head and the tab to get a perfect fit then got a workmate to machine me some out of stainless steel bar that look much better

went barefoot in the end
but it did make me think a set of mats might be in order as this WILL happen to me often. Anyone know if there are some "coverall" style mats the right shape fo the Ro?
