ok i'm bored of tootling around when i've only got half a tank! ie every 2 days... basically when it gets to half a tank fuel swash in the tank causes fuel starvation.

any options to make it better? i know various race cars have big swirl pots (up to 1.5litres) fitted - is it somethink i can do? will it make any difference and where abouts in the system is a swirl pot best possitioned? sorry for so many questions....

was also thinging that the fuel pipes in tank may be going porus with age - anyone experienced this?

cant say I notice this problem at all, can you describe it more than starvation? does it feel like its not getting fuel adequately? Sound more like shite in the tank

could be just shite in the tank - just changed filter 2k ago - made it better but did have a full tank....

is there any 'easy' way of cleaning the contents of a tank out without removing it?

any tuners removed a tank? how easy is it? if i had to remove the tank i'd fit a new pump i think to be on the safe side

Mark at LSV recently took my tank out for a new fuel pump, told me about a jiffy type cloth cover that is INSIDE the tank and can get degraded & foul the tank accordingly
